Managing Director (and Co-Owner)

Paul, the Managing Director of ID Construction, brings over 30 years of expertise in delivering comprehensive construction services across a wide range of sectors. Throughout his career, he has held senior board-level roles with several leading construction and fit-out contractors across the UK. Renowned for his inspirational leadership, Paul is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of customer service, quality, and cost efficiency.

A strong advocate for health and safety, Paul assumes full responsibility for promoting and maintaining a safe working environment across all projects. His proactive approach ensures that health and safety are embedded into the culture of the business, from boardroom strategy to on-site execution.

Martin Donnelly
Operations Director (and Co-Owner)

Martin, Operations Director at ID Construction, has played a key role in delivering a wide range of successful projects across the UK, Ireland, and Europe. He has been instrumental in securing and nurturing a loyal client base, thanks to his unwavering commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Martin is widely respected for his enthusiastic and inspirational approach to project management. His high standards of customer service, hands-on leadership, and meticulous attention to detail have earned him an excellent reputation among colleagues and clients alike.

Martin began his career training and working as a carpenter/joiner, a background that has given him a deep, practical understanding of construction from the ground up. This solid trade foundation continues to inform his approach today, enabling him to bridge technical knowledge with strategic oversight.

Highly driven and fully committed to delivering successful outcomes, Martin’s extensive industry knowledge and people-focused leadership make him a valued asset to both ID Construction and the clients we serve.

David Blyth
Commercial Director

Joining us in 2024, David brings with him over 25 years of experience in the construction industry to our team. As our Commercial Director, David is the driving force behind our commercial strategy and business development initiatives. His understanding of market trends and client needs, combined with his ability to forge strong relationships, makes him an invaluable asset to our company.

David’s leadership is defined by his commitment to excellence and his passion for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. He is known for his hands-on approach, ensuring that every project is executed with precision and care. David’s expertise spans across various sectors, including residential, commercial and fit-out, allowing us to offer a diverse range of services to our clients.

Matthew Donnelly
Key Account Director

Matthew is at the helm of our day-to-day operations, ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently from inception to completion. He began his career as a shop fitter, gaining hands-on experience that provided him with a strong working knowledge of construction and an in-depth understanding of equipment design and development. This practical foundation continues to shape the way he works, enabling him to bridge operational planning with real-world execution.

Known for his meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills, Matthew is an indispensable part of our team.
